Discover the secrets of the Medici family’s wealth and success in the Renaissance Florence and the relationship between political power and art. This tour will start with a visit to Palazzo Medici Riccardi, home of the Medici for 100 years from 1444, now houses government offices. Its Chapel of the Magi was decorated by Benozzo Gozzoli with The Procession of the Magi which depicts several members of the Medici family, while it is possible to admire Michelangelo’s design and decoration in the Laurentian Library. Your Medici tour will finish at San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapels, one of Florence´s most precious treasures thanks to the work of artists like Brunelleschi, Donatello and Michelangelo.
