CONTENT

Visit one of the most famous symbols of Venetian Renaissance architecture located at the Mercerie, the main commercial street of high-end boutiques leading to the Rialto Bridge. The magnificent clock, which shows the hours, phases of the moon and Zodiac signs, is a example of great mechanical, mathematical and geometric precision. Learn of each meaning behind the symbols built into the clock and how it reflects on the Venetian Renaissance and its culture.

• It is advised to wear comfortable shoes. Holders of the ticket for the Clock Tower get free admission to the Museo Correr, the National Archaelogical Museum and the State Rooms of the Biblioteca Marciana.
