Visit some of the major monuments of the city of Naples and the ancient ruins of Pompeii. See from the inside the Cathedral, Treasure Chapel and S.Restituta Basilica, dating back to the 4th century. Drive to Piazza del Plebiscito to see the exterior of the beautiful Royal Palace, the Basilica di Francesco di Paola, the City Hall Square and enter the Castel Nuovo or Maschio Angioino, built by the Italian brand of the Angevin dynasty.
Admire wonderful views of the city from the terraces of Posillipo. Take in the haunting ruins of Pompeii with a visit inside, as they take you back to the fateful day in 79 A.D. when neighboring Vesuvius erupted, covering the prosperous Roman city in deadly volcanic ash.

Pompeii Archaeological Site is closed on January 01, May01 and December 25 – Opening times November/March 9.00 am – 5.00 pm; April/October 9.00 am 7.30 pm The first Sunday of each month availability has to be confirmed due to specials event that could be organized in the museums.
