Explore the scenic villages of the Cinque Terre along 5 miles of coastline in Italy’s Liguria region, recognized as a national park in 1999 and UNESCO-protected area in 1997. Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore were once only accessible by sea and today there is still no road that links them all. An ancient footpath, known as the “Sentiero Azzurro”, follows the coast and joins the villages, offering panoramic views of the green terraced vinyards in the hills and the deep blue sea, while the famous “Via dell’Amore” or “Lover’s Lane”, links Manarola with Riomaggiore. Your tour allows you to discover the charm of each village and offers some unique panoramas. Stop for lunch (meal not included) in one of the villages and enjoy time to shop and stroll as time permits.
