Visit the town of Paestum with its fortified walls and temples in excellent states of conservation. Take in its ancient templates, sacred wells, bathhouses, the amphitheater as well as ancient homes and shops among the many archeological treasures.
Explore the ‘Sacred Way’, the temple of Hera (Juno), built in the 6th century B.C., boasts a peristyle which comprises 50 archaic fluted columns.
On your way back stop in Vietri sul Mare, famous for its ceramics arts and crafts. Take in the picturesque medieval borgo worth visiting, where you may see the shops dedicated to the local artwork.
