Vicenza, founded in the 2nd century B.C., is a unique artistic achievement of architecture and situated in the Veneto region. This is a good relaxing place to spend a day, admiring the grand buildings designed by Andrea Palladio, and sitting at cafe tables. In the afternoon, visit some of the Palladian villas outside town in the countryside Villa Rotonda, Villa Pojana, Villa Pisani and Villa Saraceno are among the famous villas you can visit before enjoying a panoramic ride back to Verona.
