CONTENT

Depart to Segesta to visit the unfinished Doric temple built in the late 5th century BC by the pre-hellenic people of the Elymians. The impressive building, preserving a full peristyle and architrave, offers a unique sight in the surrounding landscape. Take the shuttle to admire the Castellamare Gulf from the top of the Mount Barbaro, where the ancient Theatre is located. Continue to the medieval town of Erice, placed on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Trapani and the Egadi Islands. Wander through its ancient streets and visit some of the famous homemade bakeries — world-famous for marzipan candies and other delicacies like almond and pistachio pastries!
