Visit Monumental Naples: Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Naples, the biggest square in the city, bounded by the magnificent Royal Palace and the neo-classic church of San Francesco di Paola that you will see from the outside; the Gallery Umberto I, situated between the San Carlo Theatre, one of the oldest theaters in the world that you’ll be able to visit form the inside, and Via Toledo; enter the New Castle, often called Maschio Angioino, an Angevin citadel and the main symbol of the architecture of the city.  You will then discover the Historical Naples: the famous street called ´Spaccanapoli´ with the Gesù Nuovo Church and Santa Chiara Church that you will be able to see from the outside. You’ll visit the Duomo, dedicated to San Gennaro, the city´s patron whose blood, brought out twice a year (on the first Saturday in May and on 19 September) usually liquefies. You will conclude this tour with Panoramic Naples: starting in Mergellina, the long winding road Via Posillipo will lead you to the famous lookout commanding a breathtaking view, where you can find excellent restaurants, and where the folk song, ´A Marechiaro´, was written.
