CONTENT

Depart from Rome along the Florence-Siena autostrada to arrive in the walled city of Siena, often considered the most well preserved medieval city where not a stone has changed and the people have preserved all the traditions from their forefathers. Stroll around the Palazzo del Campo, the Palazzo Pubblico, the Duomo & Cathedral, and St. Catherine’s Sanctuary.
At your leisure, jump back into your private car and continue on to San Gimignano, declared as an Unesco World Heritage site. This city is ringed by 3 sets of historic walls and is known for its skyline of wonderful medieval towers. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant (meal is not included). Take the stroll around the city and stop to see Torre Grossa, the Collegiata and the church of Sant’Angelo. After your wonderful and exhausting day, sit back and enjoy your drive back to Florence.
