CONTENT

Depart from Rome along the Florence-Siena autostrada to arrive in the walled city of Siena, often considered the most well preserved medieval city, where not a stone has changed and the people have preserved all the traditions from their forefathers. Stroll around the Palazzo del Campo, the Palazzo Pubblico, the Duomo & Cathedral, and St. Catherine’s Sanctuary. At your leisure, jump back into your private car and continue on to Assisi, a city whose roots go back to the middle ages.
Stop for lunch in a local restaurant (meal is not included). Visit historic places like the Basilica of St. Francis with its impressive collections of frescoes, and the Basilica St. Maria delle Angeli where St. Francis lived and died. After your wonderful and exhausting day, sit back and enjoy being driven back to Rome.
