CONTENT

Experience the south as you depart from Rome along the Autostrada del Sole into the fertile countryside to Sorrento, nestled between green hills and the deep blue of the Bay of Naples. Have your driver take you to the historic center of the city, where you will find many remnants of antique civilizations. Admire the views of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius and find the best spot to take some memorable pictures. Stop for lunch (meal not included) in a local restaurant. Continue to Pompeii and wander around the excavations of this Roman city that was completely destroyed and covered in ash by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD. Return to Rome.
