CONTENT

Your tour begins in Piazza Navona, once the setting for sculptures by Bernini and Borromini, including the Domitian stadium, Bernini’s famous fountains and Borromini’s Santa Agnese church. See the works of Caravaggio in the church of San Luigi dei Francesi and proceed on to the Pantheon and then to Piazza Colonna and the famous Trevi Fountain. Built in 1735, discover why the tradition of throwing 3 coins in the fountain came about. The tour concludes with a visit of Quirinal Hill, once the summer residence of the Pope, the Kings of Italy and now the official residence of the President of Italy.
