CONTENT

Take a day trip to the magnificent city of Rome and drive down the Via Sistina and stop to see the famous Spanish Steps. See the ruins of the Roman Forum, the ancient center of the city of Rome from the top of the Capitoline Hill. Visit the Pantheon and take a brief stop in Piazza Venezia to take a picture of the Monument to the first king of Italy and Mussolini’s balcony.
Visit the Trevi Fountain, where you can throw a coin in the fountain to make sure you return to Rome! Step into the famous Colosseum, one of the must-see highlights of Rome. Stop for lunch on the Appian Way or at a sidewalk cafe in the city (meal not included). Afterwards, take a short stroll on the old cobblestones of the Appian way before returning to your hotel in Florence.

• A stop for lunch may be taken but the meal is not included. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. It is recommended to wear sunglasses and sunhats in the summer months as it gets quite hot.
