Meet your guide to reach the area next to the sea of ​​via Caracciolo up to the oldest medieval fortress of the town Castel dell’ovo. From here start a walking tour that will touch the panoramic terrace of the Castle to see the city from the sea, then by car you will reach Piazza del Plebiscito where you continue on foot and you can admire the facade of the Royal Palace of Naples and the famous Church of S. Francesco di Paola (the phanteon of Naples). Then make a stop at coffee Gambrinus (historic coffee shop in Naples) for an espresso coffee break at the counter (to experience Neapolitan sensations – here a coffee cultural talk will be done in Naples by the guide) then a few minutes walk to a souvenir photo at the pizzeria Brandi where the pizza Margherita was born in 1889 (there is a marble plaque / if you see on the internet you can find photos). The vehicle will wait for you to take you to Spaccanapoli. There you will visit the Santa Severa Chapel and the merveillous “Cristo Velato”. After the visit a stop for a slice of pizza along the street (typical Neapolitan street food) and then you will take a stroll at S Gregorio Armeno famous all around the world for Christmas shepherds. The last stage is dedicated to the sweetness of Campania: stop in one of the oldest patisseries in the historic center for sample various traditional Neapolitan sweets (babà, lemon delight, pastiera- we make a plate with a trio of sweets – accompanied by liqueurs (limoncello and similar). Reach the meeting point with the driver and you return to the hotel.
