Explore the attractions of the historical center and the masterpieces of the National Gallery of Capodimonte. Take a short walk to the famous Piazza del Plebiscito, where you will be able to admire the Royal Palace, the San Carlo Opera House, the Galleria Umberto I from the outside.
Move towards the Capodimonte Palace, the grand Bourbon palace in Naples, formerly the summer residence and hunting lodge of the kings of the Two Sicilies.
‘Capodimonte’ means ‘top of the hill’, and the palace was originally just outside the city, which has now expanded to surround it. Conclude your tour in the lush park that surrounds the Royal Palace where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples.

• Restrictions: The National Gallery of Capodimonte is closed on Wednesdays, Jan 1 and Dec 25. (entrance daily 8:30 am – 7:30pm) . The first Sunday of each month availability has to be confirmed due to specials event that could be organized in the museum.
